May The Lord Jesus Christ bless you.

From The Pastor's Desk - April 09..........

This time of year, as we head towards Easter, is always special as we see New Life bursting out all around us. The blossoms on the trees, the daffodils following the snow drops. Even some sunshine to warm us. All these signs remind us of the Resurrection Life in Christ Jesus.

On Good Friday local Christian Believers join together in a March of Witness - meeting at Broadgate Park, Beeston at 11am - walking along High Road, following the cross and entering into an act of worship in Beeston Square. The Oasis will be open for Hot Cross Buns, Soup, Tea, Coffee from 10am to 1pm. Come along and join with us.

From a local church point of view the major announcement made by Pastor Ryan is that he and Vicky are returning to Northern Ireland. Their heart is home there and so they will be farewelling from the Oasis on Sunday 26th July 2009.

Please join with us as we pray into the future. These are days of challenge and opportunity during which we continue to seek to build The Kingdom of God.

This Easter may it be a special time with The Lord for you. A time of refreshing and rejuvenation.

With every good wish, Pastor Nigel
