September 2009 From The Pastor's Desk.......

Welcome to the Oasis Christian Centre website!!

The last 2 months have seen a lot of transitions taking place at Oasis. Pastor Ryan and Vicky farewelled on Sunday 26th July. Pastor Ryan has been inducted as Assistant Pastor at the Elim Pentecostal Church, Ballyclare, Northern Ireland.

Last Wednesday, 2nd September, Pastor Steve Crosse physically moved into the area. Steve is being officially inducted as Assistant Pastor at Oasis on Sunday 20th September. The service starts at 10.30am and will be followed by a fellowship lunch.

One of the specific roles that Pastor Steve has is to develop the 18 to 30s ministry at Oasis.

Several of our folks are starting University in various locations throughout the U.K. Others are returning to University to continue their courses.

We are excited about what The Lord is going to do in this area in this new season!!

Last weekend, together with many local churches, we held "Hope In The Park." A free, love gift to Beeston, Chilwell and the surrounding area. Saturday afternoon; the Gospel Concert in the evening and the Sunday Service and picnic were all very well attended. Photographs can be viewed on our Gallery.

On 26th September Lydia Fellowship are holding "Prayer For Family/Nation" at Oasis - 10am to 2.30pm. All ladies are welcome. Free lunch is provided.

Pray for us as we enter this new season of ministry - we want to enjoy and share all The Lord has for us and will give through us!!
