Introducing Pastor Steve Crosse

Hi my name is Steve Crosse and I am the Assistant Pastor here at the Oasis Christian Centre Beeston. My main responsibility is for the 18-30s age group. I also preach and visit as well as supporting the youth work. My desire is to see people coming into relationship with Jesus Christ and living their life to the full.

Background
I was born in Bristol on the 21st April 1981, which makes me 28 years old (although people say I look 18...I wisely take it as a compliment). I am engaged to Erika Dalheim who is currently doing a PGCE History qualification and we will be getting married next July.

Becoming a Christian at the age of 6 is the best decision I have ever made and my relationship with God is my number one priority. He is my best friend and confidant and has helped me to become the person I am today. I lived in Bristol till I was 18 years old when I left and moved to Birmingham where I worked for Youth for Christ for a year (Operation Gideon) in schools. I then moved to Coventry where I did Nexus Music Academy and studied bass guitar.

I stayed in Coventry for a further 3 years where I worked in Coventry Evening telegraph in the Advertising department and did youth work in Coventry Elim church. I then spent just over a year working in Kosova working with young people & children. In 2005 I went to the Elim Theological college (Regents) and did the school of ministry which was an intensive one year course. When I finished I applied to become a Minister in Training and started in the Elim church in Driffield where I was youth Pastor for 3 years before coming to Beeston in September.

Hobbies
I have many different hobbies including reading, playing & watching football, watching movies, eating, spending time with family & friends and playing my bass guitar (Loudly).

Here at Oasis Christian Centre we desire to see people of all ages and nationalities coming together to worship Jesus. We invite you to come and join us on Sunday we would love to see you.

God Bless - Pastor Steve (Assistant Pastor, Oasis Christian Centre)
