May The Lord Jesus Christ bless you.

December 2009

Our invitation this December is to "Give Christmas Away". To share The Truth of The Father's Heart - that He sent His Son Jesus into the world, clothed in flesh, "Immanuel": God with us, to draw each one of us to Himself. Everyone who believes in Jesus will have eternal life.

He grew up. At the age of 30 began His public minsitry, which we can read about in the Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, of the New Testament and at the age of 33 gave Himself as a sacrifice, on the cross, where He died, paying the punishment for our sin. So that we could be forgiven and then live in the power of God, not just when we die but right here on earth.

So, this Christmas we are sharing The Good News about Jesus.

Sunday 6th at Falcon House 3 to 4 pm and Elm House 4.15 to 5pm.

Friday 11th at Yew Tree Court Carol Service 1 to 2pm.

Saturday 12th at the Hope NG9 Event "Get in the Picture" 10am to 1pm in Beeston Square and our Evergreens, Luncheon Club members and friends Christmas Afternoon 2 to 5pm

Sunday 13th with "The Bethlehem Bus" 4 to 8pm.
Join us for Carols; Mince Pies; Mulled Wine; Santa and a few suprises at:-
Pearson Avenue, Inham Nook 4.45 to 5.30pm
Central Avenue Shops, Beeston 5.45 to 6.30pm
Meadow Road, Beeston Rylands 6.45 to 7.30pm
All a free gift to you from Oasis in the Community.

Sunday 20th "Candlelit Carol Service" 5pm followed by mince pies, tea & coffee.

Christmas Day Family Celebration 11am to 12 noon - Don't forget to bring a toy for "Pastor's Play Time!"

May this Christmas we realise The Truth that before the foundation of the earth, Heavenly Father "Gave Christmas Away" - He sent His Son, Jesus, so that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
(John 3:16).

With every good wish, love and prayer for you during this season.

Pastor Nigel
