May The Lord Jesus Christ bless you.

January 2010

We are fast approaching the New Year of 2010.

In November each year, since I became a Pastor I have sought The Lord for a theme for the year.

On 25th January 1985 I began my Pastoral Ministry as Pastor at the Elim Pentecostal Church in Garston, Liverpool. This means that I am soon to celebrate 25 years. I am very grateful to Father God for His faithfulness; support; love and provision. This has been given through people in each of the fellowships that I have been privileged to serve, together with Jill, (with the exception of Garston, Liverpool), Southport; Greenock and The Oasis Christian Centre, Beeston which we continue to serve.

The theme for the year, not wanting to rest on any laurels, is "Press On Again Throughout 2010" (Philippians 3:12) "Not that I have already obtained it, or have already become perfect, but I press on in order that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus." (NASB)

I am taking a week during January to seek The Lord for a fresh anointing of The Holy Spirit - praying that His input will act like a hinge on a door - opening up the second half of my life and ministry. Please join me in prayer regarding this.

Please be inspired too to not rest on your laurels. To seek The Lord. Receive The Holy Spirit's fresh empowering; revelation and vision for this year. "Press On Again Througout 2010."

With every good wish

Pastor Nigel
