From The Pastor's Desk - 7th July 2010............

This weekend is World Cup Weekend! It is also Beeston's Carnival on Saturday at 12 noon on Broadgate Park.

Along with many local churches we are involved in declaring God's love. Running a Global Cafe on the park. Giving away drinks and cakes from different nations.

The Parade commences at 1pm from The Town Hall, Foster Avenue, Beeston. The local churches' theme being "God so loved the world.....
"One God, One World, One Message." John 3:16 will be carried through the streets on banners in different languages. Come along dressed in a national costume, football kit or bright colours.

On Sunday morning 11th July, Jill Yates will be co-ordinating our Monthly All Age Worship Service on the theme of 'The World Cup'.

At 6.45pm we meet for fellowship, and to watch the World Cup Final. Refreshments will be served at half time.
