"YOU ARE A HOUSE OF PRAYER !!!"
Reading : Matthew 21:12-16
Key Verse : (Mt 21:13) "My House Will Be Called A House Of Prayer !!"
This Historical incident happened during the week leading upto Jesus's death upon the cross, and His subsequent Resurrection.
A week that began with Jesus' Triumphant entry into Jerusalem, as He fulfilled Zechariah's prophecy : "Say to the Daughter of Zion, see your King comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey." (Zech 9:9b)
This prophetic fulfilment was not lost on either the Chief Priests; Teachers of The Law, nor the people.
The people upset the Priests and Teachers of The Law, by shouting, "Hosanna To The Son Of David !!"

Reading : Matthew 19:13-15
Key Verse : (Mark 10:16) "And He took the children in His arms, put His hands on them and Blessed them."
(This message was given during a Dedication Service held on 11 February 2007)
Parents, desirous of God's Blessing for their children have always come to Him :-
(1) Thankful for God's Gift of their child
(2) Acknowledgeing their need for God's Wisdom to bring up their child
(3) Aware of the difference that God's Blessing makes upon their child's life - both now and for the future

Reading : Romans 8:28-39
We each have The Two Most Powerful Intercessors praying for us !!! The Holy Spirit and The Lord Jesus Christ !!
Do we really believe that today ??!!??
We might think to ourselves - "I can accept that They pray for Billy Graham; Reinhard Bonkke; Colin Urquhart and his son Clive; Bill Hybels; Benny Hinn; John Glass. They are important to The Kingdom of God - But Me ??!! I am not so sure !!"
God is no respecter of persons. In that He looks at us all the same way !!

This is our Theme, at the Oasis Christian Centre, Beeston throughout 2007.
Jesus had this mindset that we need to develop too :-
ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN !!!
There are Plans On The Drawing Board Of Heaven for 2007 with our individual names on them!
Jeremiah 29:11-13 says, I know the plans I have for you, declares The Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you Hope & a Future. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.

I want to give grateful thanks for our Heritage !!
For the sacrificial giving of folks, over the years, who have attended here during the years that the fellowship has been variously known as The Gospel Mission; Beeston Pentecostal Church and now, Oasis Christian Centre.
We are who we are, and we are where we are today, because people have and are tithing; giving offerings; and have responded to Special Gift Days...
