The Visitation Team

We are a small group of people who seek to be alongside those who would welcome a visit. This could involve rejoicing with families who have just had a new baby, visiting the sick in their homes or in hospital, to be a friend with the lonely or to mourn with those who've lost a loved one. We are able to share communion with the elderly who are housebound. People need friendship and encouragement in all sorts of situations and we trust we can of help to them.

The Oasis Christian Centre is blessed by having age ranges from 0 to 90+, people of many nationalities, and from all sorts of backgrounds. It is great to have such a mixed congregation and our aim is to work as a family. We know we are all special to God, but there are times when we go through difficult phases in our lives, some with big challenges and we trust we are there to support all in time of need. Everything shared is confidential.

Sometimes we are prompted by The Holy Spirit to ring or visit a certain person not knowing why, and it is a great privilege being guided there at the right time. Also, mixing with the congregation on Sundays, we are able to pick up situations needing practical help or a listening ear.

We do appreciate people letting us know where we might be of assistance and we try to visit as soon as possible. Please contact us directly or via the Oasis Office.
